TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR AGRODOLA

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AgroDola ("we", "us", "our"), available at agrodola.com (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use AgroDola.

AgroDola is a farm investment platform that connects investors with verified, harvest-ready farms across Ghana. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and investors on the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making an investment, or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
  • You agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy
  • You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of AgroDola after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use AgroDola, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration
  • Complete any required identity verification (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) checks
  • Not be barred from using financial services under the laws of Ghana or your jurisdiction

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AgroDola complies with all applicable laws in your country of residence.

3. Account Registration & Security

To invest in farms on AgroDola, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials (email, password, PIN) confidential
  • Not share your account with any other person
  • Notify us immediately at info@agrodola.com if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Farm Investment

AgroDola lists verified, harvest-ready farms for investment. When you invest in a farm, you fund the harvest and delivery of produce that already has a confirmed buyer and a fixed delivery window.

Every farm listing shows, at minimum:

  • The produce (crop or livestock)
  • The farmer (name, photo, and location)
  • The confirmed buyer
  • The unit price and number of units available
  • The profit share you will earn
  • The expected delivery window (typically 7–30 days)

By confirming an investment, you agree to the specific terms shown on that farm's listing — including the investment amount, expected return, and delivery timeline.

5. Wallet, Deposits & Withdrawals

AgroDola provides a secure wallet for funding investments and receiving payouts. You can:

  • Fund your wallet via bank transfer, mobile money, card, or other supported payment methods
  • Invest from your wallet into any active farm
  • Receive payouts directly into your wallet when a farm cycle completes
  • Withdraw your available balance to your bank account or mobile money wallet

Withdrawals are processed within 1–5 business days, depending on your chosen method. Any applicable withdrawal fees are shown clearly before you confirm.

Funds in your AgroDola wallet remain in your control. Capital committed to a specific farm is held securely until that farm's cycle completes — you will see the release timeline on every listing before you invest.

6. Returns, Profit Share & Timing

Profit shares on AgroDola typically range from 5% to 30%, depending on the farm, crop, and cycle length. The exact rate for each farm is displayed upfront before you invest.

When a farm cycle completes:

  • The produce is sold to the confirmed buyer
  • Your original capital is returned to your wallet
  • Your agreed profit share is credited alongside your capital
  • You are notified via email and platform notification

Timing: Most farm cycles complete within 7–30 days. The expected delivery window for each farm is shown on its listing. While delays are rare, agricultural cycles can be affected by weather, transport, or buyer-side factors outside our control. Any delay will be communicated transparently.

7. Risks & Disclosures

Farm investment carries inherent risks. By using AgroDola, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • Agricultural risk — crops and livestock are subject to weather, disease, and other natural factors that may affect yield or delivery
  • Market risk — commodity prices at the time of sale may differ from those at the time of listing
  • Buyer risk — while every buyer is confirmed upfront, a confirmed buyer may in rare cases delay or default on payment
  • No guaranteed returns — AgroDola does not guarantee a specific return on any farm; past performance is not a guarantee of future performance
  • Capital at risk — you should only invest amounts you can afford to have tied up for the duration of a farm cycle

Please invest responsibly. AgroDola is not a bank, a deposit account, or a guaranteed investment product. All investments are made at your own risk.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal activity, including money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financing
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or restrictions
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to our systems
  • Scrape, copy, or resell any content or data from the Platform
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content anywhere on the Platform
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

9. Identity Verification (KYC) & AML

As a regulated financial service provider, AgroDola is required to verify the identity of our users. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information (name, address, date of birth)
  • Submit government-issued identification when requested
  • Complete any additional verification steps we may require
  • Update your information promptly if it changes

We may also monitor transactions for signs of money laundering, fraud, or unusual activity. We reserve the right to request source-of-funds documentation and to report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.

10. Fees & Charges

AgroDola earns a share of the profit generated by each farm cycle. This share is transparently disclosed as part of the profit split shown on every farm listing — you always see the exact net return before you invest.

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Early withdrawal of funds (if applicable)
  • Certain payment methods (as shown at checkout)
  • Currency conversion (if applicable)

Any fees are always displayed clearly before you confirm a transaction. We do not apply hidden charges.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We detect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • You fail to complete required KYC verification
  • We are legally required to do so

You may also close your own account at any time by contacting info@agrodola.com. Any active farm investments will be allowed to complete their cycle, and your remaining balance can be withdrawn after closing.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgroDola, its directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, or anticipated returns arising from farm outcomes outside our reasonable control
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Losses arising from unauthorized access to your account (where you failed to keep credentials secure)
  • Delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (force majeure, network outages, third-party service failures)

Our total liability to you for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount of the specific investment giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Platform at any time. When possible, we will give advance notice of material changes. We are not liable for any disruption or modification to the Platform.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ghana, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer protection laws.

We encourage you to contact us first at info@agrodola.com to resolve any concern before pursuing formal legal action.
